QR Codes

If you received the Term 3 newsletter today, you will notice it has a few QR Codes on it. These are codes which you can scan using a tablet, iPad or Smartphone. The code takes you straight to the website, photo or video that it is linked to. This is a really easy way that we can share websites (without having to type out full website addresses).

 Room 3 will be using these in class, as a way to link students with great activities online.

There are many QR Reader Code Apps that work.

Welcome to Term 3

Hi everyone!!! Welcome to Term Three. It's going to be another exciting and busy term. We have Production this term, as well as Cross Country and more science! The kids have had a great first week back. Over the next few days I will get a newsletter out to you.

One important (and perhaps funny) event is happening this Friday. I'm fundraising and running this year for the Child Cancer Foundation. My big run will be in November where I'm doing the Auckland Full Marathon. To prepare for this event, I'm doing some smaller fundraising events, including a 5km run this Friday around the field. And.... you're all invited! You can either run or walk, for as long as you can. The kids will be dressing in Mufti as a fundraiser. I'd love your support :) Come to school on Friday afternoon at 2pm. Hopefully the weather will be fine. It'll be fun!
