Bike Safety Writing
This week Room 3 has been part of the Let's Go Cycling programme. We wrote about how bikes work and how to stay safe on bikes. Here's some of our amazing pieces.
Our performance at the St John Bosco Birthday Bash
Hey everyone,
Room 3 did a great job at the recent St John Bosco Birthday Bash. They had been practicing heaps. Here is the video. Sorry for the quality (Mrs Young is still learning about the fine art of videoing).
Enjoy!

Costume Items for Production
Room 3:
Costumes for Production
As you are hopefully aware, our school
Production “Over the Rainbow” will be performed in Week 10 of this term. Our class has been practicing hard on our two
dances. It’s now time to talk
costumes. Luckily, most of our costumes
are sorted. But there are a few extra
items the kids will need:
Girls, Fireflies: black
bike pants
The girls have beautiful skirts, gold tops
and wings. They require simple black
bike pants to go underneath. These are available
from The Warehouse or T&T for about $6 each. We’d love the girls to wear their hair up in
a ponytail or a bun for the evening.
Boys, Hot Sparks: blue
jeans and black singlets.
The boys are our “Hot Sparks”. They have red muscle jackets. They require blue or black jeans and a black
singlet. It would be great if the boys
could gel their hair a little on the night.
They are our muscle boys! So we’re
going for the cool look.
Please drop
by if you’re unsure of what to organize for the night or if you can’t source these
items. We can always sort something out.
I’m going to ask that costumes are available at school at the beginning
and for the whole of Week 10. Please make
sure items are named and brought in a named plastic bag.
Thanks heaps
for your help.
